Weekly sex makes for happy couples: US study
How much sex is enough? Just once a week is all it takes for optimal happiness among married heterosexual couples and those in long-term relationships, said a US study Wednesday.
The findings are based on surveys of more than 30,000 Americans collected over four decades, and are published in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science.
"Although more frequent sex is associated with greater happiness, this link was no longer significant at a frequency of more than once a week," said lead researcher Amy Muise, a social psychologist and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto-Mississauga.
"Our findings suggest that it's important to maintain an intimate connection with your partner, but you don't need to have sex everyday as long as you're maintaining that connection."
Researchers noted that the study was not designed to show cause-and-effect, so it remains unknown whether happiness leads to weekly sex, or if weekly sex arouses more joy in life.
The study was also limited to people in romantic relationships, not single people.
"In fact, there was no association between sexual frequency and well-being for single people," said Muise.
The findings were also consistent across age groups, gender and the length of the relationship -- whether months or decades.
Muise said couples should discuss whether their sexual needs are being met, rather than simply press for more sex.
"It's important to maintain an intimate connection with your partner without putting too much pressure on engaging in sex as frequently as possible," she said.

Can you wake up one day and not feel any love?
Dear Tita Witty,
My first boyfriend and I got back together after three years of being separated. I thought love would be lovelier the second time around, but it clearly wasn’t the case. He’s been cold and distant. Lumala pa nung kinailangan niyang mag-OJT sa US. It had only been four months since we got back together, and the OJT is for three months. Days would pass that he wouldn’t talk to me — sometimes even a week! What’s even worse, nalalagay ako sa seenzone. Despite all that, I trusted and tried to understand him.
Around two weeks before he was supposed to come home, sobrang labo na talaga. I gave him the cold shoulder for a week so he’d come to his senses. Tapos biglang nag-message na wala na talaga, sa kanya raw may mali at ginamitan ako ng “It’s not you, it’s me.” line. I didn’t even know he had come home.
What do you think happened? Is it really possible to wake up one day and not feel any love? I don’t know how to move on and I don’t understand why this happened to us. What should I do, Tita?
Love,
Clueless
Dear Clueless,
What I’m about to say will hurt. Ready ka na? May tissue ka dyan at wala namang kutsilyo o gunting na malapit sa’yo? Okay, here goes:
There’s someone else. That’s what happened. No, he didn’t just wake up one day and decided he doesn’t love you anymore.
The reason why he wouldn’t let you go when you were trying to “cool off” (may I just say, lakas maka-high school ng term na ‘yun) with him is because he wasn’t sure yet if it would work out with the other girl. Syempre, kailangan niya ng reserba, ‘di ba? When he came home, malamang nagkita sila, at nung sure na siya na pwede sila, that’s when he had the balls to break up with you.
What should you do? Forget him. Easier said than done, I know.
You might not see it now, but trust me, you’ll get past this. One day, it will just come to you that he wasn’t the last thing you thought of before going to sleep last night, and he wasn’t the first thing you thought of when you woke up this morning. Tapos maiisip mo: OMG, ang pangit niya pala. Ewww.
xoxo,
Tita Witty

Photos of Freddie Aguilar and young lady who may be 16-year-old girlfriend surface online
Amid the social media frenzy over Freddie Aguilar’s admission that he is deeply in love with his 16-year-old girlfriend, photos of the legendary folk singer and a young woman who may or may not be the unidentified girlfriend (see above) surfaced online on Thursday.
Two of the photos show the 60-year-old singer and the young lady kissing. The third has them looking directly at the camera.
Aguilar made his controversial admission to pep.ph reporter Glenn Regondola on Sunday night at the 5th Star Awards for Music at Solaire Resorts and Casino where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award, although the report only came out on Wednesday.
Aguilar was accompanied by his girlfriend and another female companion, whom he identified as the pregnant girlfriend of his son Jeriko.
The singer, who shot to stardom in 1979 with his signature hit “Anak”, claimed he did not know that his girlfriend was a minor when he first met her but said he was already in love when he found out.
He said he has her parents’ blessings and is ready to marry her when she’s legal and ready. He added that they have discussed the prospect of having a baby.

Derek Ramsay rules out reconciliation with Cristine Reyes, but wants to keep their friendship
Derek Ramsay has officially admitted that his month-long relationship with Cristine Reyes is indeed over as reported in several print and online media last week. However, the actor remains hopeful that they can still maintain their friendship.
“Right now, I’m giving more importance to the friendship side of our relationship. That’s what I’m trying to do,” Derek told InterAksyon and other media during the pocket press conference for his new weekly drama series on TV5, “For Love or Money”, set to air this October 17 at 8PM.
Derek further revealed that he has spoken with Cristine’s mother and sisters, including actress Ara Mina, whom he said he had a conversation with during the recent trade launch of TV5’s “Everyday All The Way” line-up of new shows at the NBC Tent. Ara is in the cast of Ogie Alcasid’s new teleserye “The Gift”.
“I spoke with everybody that I know who loves her to make sure she’s safe. Her family, her friends, lahat ng mga importanteng tao sa buhay niya, kinausap ko na. So far, they haven’t been disrespectful to me,” he added.
As for Cristine herself, Derek said they remain in touch. As a matter of fact, they are still set to shoot more scenes together for their upcoming film project, “Trophy Wife”. They will also soon travel together to Hawaii for an upcoming show.
Asked if their future liaisons will lead to a possible reconciliation, Derek sounded firm in ruling it out. “We both know that that’s not going to happen,” he declared.
Whether the extremely remote possibility of rekindling their flame has something to do with the real reason for their breakup, Derek wouldn’t say.
“I’m going to be private on what our reasons are. There are so many speculations but it’s not what it is,” he told News5 during the said trade launch.
As to how the breakup is going to affect the subsequent promotion of “Trophy Wife” when the time comes and he and Cristine can actively promote the film together, Derek does not see a problem there.
“I don’t think it will have any effect. People who know me know that I don’t come up with gimmicks just to promote a movie. I just let the movie speak for itself,” he replied.
“Besides, how can I do that to somebody who has been my friend for so long? If she has problems with us promoting the film together, I’ll respect and accept her decision. But I don’t think she will because she’s a professional”.
With regards to a repeat of the publicized incidents early this year when his name was not at all mentioned by his co-stars in “A Secret Affair” during the promotion of that film on ABS-CBN shows, Derek would like to think that it’s no longer an issue given how the Kapamilya network reported the story when he and Cristine first confirmed their relationship.
“I have so much respect for ABS-CBN for doing that. It was nice that my past network showed and mentioned me during that time. From the reports that they gave, they look like they’re happy for me. They even made an effort to go to us and interview us,” he recalled.
But now that he and Cristine are no longer a couple, how would he react if he becomes He Who Must Not Be Named again in his former network?
“If they decide to do that, then that’s their decision and I will respect it. You can look at it in so many ways. If they’re just protecting their talent, it’s a business decision on their part, so be it. You didn’t hear me complain about it then. But I want to think positive and consider that problem or issue as something that’s already over,” he conceded.

BB Gandanghari has a lover in the US but says he broke his promise to visit her this month
BB Gandanghari had been mum about her relationship status for the longest time, but she was in such a good mood at a recent press conference that she finally opened up about having left her heart in the States.
“Magde-deny sana ako,” BB said with a laugh. “Magaling siyang magluto,” she said of her boyfriend.
And?
“Baka nga wala na kami,” she quipped. “At a time like this, when you feel so pressured (at work), you just want somebody to be there, na makakausap mo.”
Love is bound to disappoint, be it in relationships that are unconventional or otherwise. The guy in question had promised to join BB here in Manila this month but didn’t make good on his word.
“I was really expecting na darating siya ng Feb, pero hindi nangyari so medyo na-disappoint ako. Mahirap mag-expect tapos hindi mangyayari,” she said.
Good thing that there is her second foray into theater to think about and occupy her time, something that does not disappoint like lovers that fall short on their promises.
In this latest restaging of “Halik Ng Tarantula,” adapted from the film and Broadway versions of “Kiss of the Spider Woman” by famous novelist Manuel Puig, BB plays both Molina, a persecuted gay inmate, and Irena, the spiderwoman, originally played by Sonia Braga in the film version and Vanessa Williams in the Broadway musical version.
BB is aware that Hollywood actor William Hurt played Molina in the 1985 film version and walked off with an Oscar for his performance. “Pinanood ko siya nu’ng malaman ko na gagawin ko na ‘yung play. Usually takot ako na manood ng ibang actors who had played a role na gagawin ko rin, pero, ito, hindi ako natakot panoorin ‘yung movie. Na-curious lang ako kung paano ginawa ni William Hurt. I’ll attack it differently,” she revealed.
“Kiss of the Spiderwoman” offers the kind of challenge that interests BB. “Basically kasi it’s a two-character play so you have to be able to hold people’s attention for two hours. The glory there is kapag nakita mong nag-enjoy ang mga tao,” she said.
“Halik ng Tarantula,” translated in Filipino by the late playwright Rene Villanueva, tells of two inmates — Valentin, a political prisoner, and Molina, a homosexual fond of recalling scenes from old movies he has seen — sharing the same cell in a Buenos Aires prison in the ’70s.
The part of Valentin is as integral as Molina’s. Three acting newbies have been tapped to tackle the role, namely Jet Alcantara, Xyrus Cruz, and Jovic Monsod.
Cruz, as of this writing, had backed out from the production because he allegedly didn’t see it necessary to go out on “group bonding sessions” with BB to get a feel of the play.
That is, however, a whole different story. BB said she and the production group had thought of getting more seasoned performers for the role of Valentin but for various reasons, decided on hiring acting tyros. “Physically, it’s the eyes. And then there’s the attitude towards work, ‘yung dedication nila,” she answered when asked how they picked her leading men in the play.
Because “Halik ng Tarantula” is a largely political play with sexual undertones, BB admitted that there are scenes that require her and her leading man to engage in acts of intimacy.
“Sabihin na nating I’m very open kung ano ‘yung requirements ng role. Nakakatuwa itong mga lalaki (who will alternate in the role of Valentin), kasi kaswal na lang sa kanila kapag nagri-rehearsal na magtanong, ‘Ito na po ba ‘yung scene na naka-boxers na lang? Naka-briefs na lang?’ Ang ganda kasi nung script kaya mai-imbibe mo talaga ‘yung character,” she shared.
“Halik ng Tarantula” will run from Match 7 to 9 at Teatrino Promenade Arcade in Greenhills.

John Lloyd Cruz on relationship with Angelica: ‘I can truly say I’ve never been happier’
She wrote him a song. He gave her a Mercedes Benz SLK.
John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban are no longer denying that they are a couple. At a press conference last week for “A Beautiful Affair”, John Lloyd’s new teleserye with perennial screen partner Bea Alonzo, he was bombarded with questions about the perfect Sundays he’s been spending with Angelica lately, and an extravagant gift he delivered to her garage recently.
“Wala naman kaming dine-deny. Basta gano’n lang. We don’t talk openly about it lang,” he said.
He blushed when reminded of “Barcelona”, the song Angelica wrote for him. What about that ring that she posted on Twitter? It’s not what you might think it is. “Part ng costume niya ‘yun sa isang movie na ginagawa niya,” he said.
But he came clean when pressed about that posh sedan, reportedly worth over P5 million, which trumps the Mini Cooper from Angelica’s previous boyfriend, Derek Ramsay.
“Hindi naman kailangang gawing issue. Ang laki-laki naman ng pera ko. Pero ‘pag mahal mo ang isang tao, kakayanin mo namang ibigay ang lahat-lahat sa kanya,” he said frankly.
There’s no more denying it – John Lloyd is deeply in love.
“Mahirap sukatin. But I can truly say I’ve never been happier. Masayang-masaya talaga. Maganda ngayon ang trabaho ko, ang career. Kaya siguro nasasabi ko na I am inspired. Dahil ito ang nangyayari now,” he said.
“Iba nga ‘yung nararamdaman namin. Hindi namin nilalagyan ng label. Kasi nakakalito lang ‘yun. At hindi naming ipinipilit. What is here and now. In the moment. In the present. Anything can happen,” he added.
This romance is not more than four months old. He’s not naive; he knows this first flush will fade.
“Ngayon, nasa cloud 9 ka, kinikilig ka pa. When you fall in love with that person, merong time na panay kilig talaga. But that can last for a certain time lang. Hindi naman ‘yun magla-last forever. ‘Yung commitment mo with the person ang kailangang mag-last. Kung paano n’yong aalagaan that commitment with each other,” he explained.
Surely, he’s excited about this coming Christmas, which will be their first together. Any plans?
“Hindi ko pa alam kung ano ang magiging plano. Kasi dadating ang family ni Angel and the reason excited siya doon na sila magi-stay sa bagong bahay niya. So, Pasko, sa side niya, sa side ko. And as of now, talagang ini-enjoy lang namin ‘yung moment. Walang pressure.”
He is also very pleased that Derek has only good words to say about him.
“Salamat sa magagandang sinasabi. Bakit, may kailangan bang ipagtanggol? Totoo naman ‘yung mga sinasabi niya. Pero wala namang kailangang ipagtanggol. Sinasabi lang niya ang totoo. Ang mga tao lang naman ang nagbibigay ng sari-sari nilang mga impressions. Kasi nga, dapat sa mga ganitong sitwasyon, ‘yung mga taong involved na lang ang dapat ang nakakaalam ng kung ano at bakit sa mga nangyayari. May karapatan namang magsalita ang bawat isa sa amin.”
What about his ex, Shaina Magdayao? What if ABS-CBN decided to pair them again in the near future?
“Wala naman siya sa plano. Kung magsasama uli, ang network na ang magde-decide noon. Trabaho naman ‘yun. At saka bakit ako ang tatanungin about it?”
As for being paired with Angelica, that has already happened with “24/7 In Love”, the Star Cinema movie that will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent management company which handles both their careers. They headline one of the six episodes in the omnibus film, and that episode was shot in Vietnam last summer. And by now, it is well known that Angelica broke up with Derek after coming home from that shoot.
And if it’s up to John Lloyd, this screen pairing should never happen again. Why? “Yung nagawa naming project na ’24/7′, ‘yun na ang last. I dunno. Basta ‘yun lang ang take ko. Parang mas gusto ko na hindi kami magkatrabaho pa. For now. In the future, I don’t know,” he said.
It’s a safe bet that Star Cinema won’t grant this particular wish. But for now, let us allow John Lloyd to wallow in romantic bliss.
You know what was the best thing he said in that home video shot by Direk Dante Nico Garcia of an intimate dinner hosted by Angelica for John Lloyd and two other companions?
“Nag-e-exist pala ang ganitong klase ng happiness.”

On last day of talk show gig, Chiz admits Heart is his girlfriend
After playing coy for three months, Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero finally admitted on Friday morning that actress Heart Evangelista is his girlfriend.
“I would like to think so, yes,” he told Kris Aquino after she asked him pointblank about his relationship status with the actress who is 15 and a half years his junior.
Heart is 27, while Chiz, whose marriage to Christine Flores was officially annulled earlier this year, will turn 43 on Wednesday, October 10.
Friday was the last day of his co-hosting stint on “Kris TV”, Kris’ morning talk show on ABS-CBN. Since it began in July, the senator had been tight-lipped whenever Kris asked if he was dating Heart.
“We are not dating. Sabi nila, ‘pag nasa edad 42 na ang mga lalake, ang tawag na dun ay meeting,” he told her on his first day as co-host.
However, Heart herself had been a little more forthcoming about the rumored romance recently. She told MJ Marfori of News5 backstage during the “Dolphy Alay Tawa” tribute concert on September 19: “We’re just enjoying each other’s company, but that’s just it for now.”
A week before that, the actress had sent her Twitter followers atwitter when she exclaimed, “I miss my Chiz Curls!”
Last Tuesday, Sen. Escudero filed his certificate of candidacy for his reelection bid next year. He is a guest candidate of both the administration coalition and the United Nationalist Alliance.
Election rules forbid him from maintaining a regular TV show. Kris vowed to ask him back to “Kris TV” in June next year after the election season is over.

"We're very okay and in fact, we've never been this happy so confident naman kami sa relationship namin that we're stronger now than even we were before," pahayag ng binata.
- MMacapendeg/FRJ, GMA News

Rhian Addresses Issue Involving Geneva
MANILA, Philippines – Rhian Ramos has dismissed allegations that ardent admirer KC Montero’s ex-wife Geneva Cruz does not seem too happy about answering questions pertaining to the TV host-DJ’s current love life.
“I doubt it. Because she’s not that kind of person,” Rhian told PEP in an interview posted on Sept. 29.
The rumor appears to be in contrast to previous reports where Geneva has expressed happiness for Rhian and KC, even telling the young actress through a message she texted to Yahoo! OMG Philippines a little over three months ago —which they, in turn, quoted in an article—to love and care for her former flame.
KC and Geneva parted ways in 2010, while Rhian admitted to “exclusively dating” the former VJ just this June.
Meantime, Rhian hopes to get the approval of KC’s US-based mom, with whom she was able to spend time during the latter’s recent visit to the Philippines.
“Actually, hindi ko naman talaga alam kung boto ba siya o hindi. Pero ano…sana naman! And I would be very thankful naman kung… hopefully naman ay gusto rin niya ako,” she was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, Rhian said that her mother has nothing against KC although both of them are proceeding with caution regarding her current relationship.
“Maiintindihan mo naman ‘yung mom ko, she’s just trying to be careful, especially, with me. Pareho lang naman kami. We’re trying our best to be very careful na. At the same time, ayaw din naman namin na sa sobrang careful namin, maging sobrang unfair na kami sa tao. So we’re just trying to be fair.
“Pero ano… wala naman kaming nakikitang masama, e. Lalo na ako, wala akong nakikitang masama,” said she.
In any case Rhian seems content with the way things are, and that she’s “super!” happy with her special relationship with KC.

Enchong On Julia And His Non-Showbiz Girlfriends

MANILA, Philippines – Seemingly taking Radiohead's "True Love Waits" to heart is actor Enchong Dee, who has vowed to hold off his pursuit of Julia Montes till at least the actress turn 18.
Not that he has to wait for ages as Montes will be having her debut by March next year.
Still, Dee is already demonstrating utmost fervency in the quest declaring that this early, he had already forgone dating other women.
“’Wala na. It’s a choice din na ‘wag na,” Dee said during a recent appearance on "KrisTV."
As of the moment, Dee is keeping himself busy with work. He is currently promoting Star Cinema's “The Reunion,” which will hit
theaters next week. He is also preparing for his role in ABS-CBN’s upcoming drama series “Ina, Kapatid, Anak” alongside Xian Lim, Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador.
In the interview, Dee revealed that he only has had two romantic relationships so far. He insisted that the past rumors linking him to Kim Chiu and Erich Gonzales are just that, rumors.
Dee, who used to compete nationally as swimmer, said his first girlfriend was a Cebuana, whom he met in a training camp years ago.
“Kasi ‘pag swimming, ‘pag summer, ‘yun ‘yung pinaka-height ng training, merong ibang mga taga-probinsiya na nagpupunta sa amin. So may Cebuana na nagpunta sa amin, nakipag-training, tapos doon ko siya nakilala,” he said.
Romance eventually blossomed, Dee recalled, as the training progressed.
“Ang pupuntahan nung training na ‘yun, competition sa Bacolod. So ang galing, Bicolano ako, Cebuana siya, ta’s sa Bacolod nabuo [‘yung relasyon],” he said.
The relationship did not last long, however, as distance drove them apart. "Kasi long distance. Tsaka bata pa rin naman kami noon,” he said.
The actor said that he has maintained his friendship with the girl even as he became busy with his showbiz career.
“Nagkita kami one time kasi nagkaroon ako ng show sa Cebu, tapos nag-breakfast [kami]. Effort talaga, gising ka nang maaga para makita mo siya, makita mo ‘yung family niya. Pero ‘yun lang, friends na lang,” Dee said.
Dee's next relationship was with a girl he met while he was finishing his studies in De La Salle University-Manila. But just like his first, this one didn’t work out as according to Dee, "hindi ganu'n ‘yung bonding, unlike others.”

Xian Says Mom Approves Of Kim

MANILA, Philippines - Xian Lim hides no secrets from his mom, this including matters of the heart.
According to the model-actor-singer, he and his mom are very "close" and that she knows "everything" about him.
“Hindi ko na kailangang sabihin, although I still do tell. Sinasabi ko sa kanya lahat,” Lim affirmed via "The Buzz" on Sunday. "Alam niya ang nararamdaman ko towards work, towards anything.”
And this includes his ongoing pursuit of actress Kim Chiu.
Lim revealed that Chiu already has the vote of his mom. “Sabi niya Kim Chiu’s a really nice girl, she’s beautiful, she looks amazing,” he said.
Though he admits they are yet to officially become an item, Lim went on to divulge that he continues to try to show Chiu how much he cares by showering her with flowers and gifts.
"It’s more of showing my appreciation towards that really special person," he explained.
Earlier, Chiu herself attested to Lim's apparent generosity by revealing in interviews how the actor would not only give her gifts but the rest of her household as well.
“Nagugulat na lang sila maraming dalang food para sa aming lahat. Kunwari milk tea, para sa aming lahat, katulong ko, driver ko. And nagugulat sisters ko, 'yung buong bahay namin may party.”
Kim admits that she considers Lim special to her.
Lim and Chiu first worked together on the soap, "My Binondo Girl."
They are currently working together on the upcoming series " Kinakapatid Anak."

Ryan Reynolds Smooches Blake Lively in a Bathing Suit

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively showed their love for each other during a PDA-filled party last week.
In a series of new photos from a Fourth of July bash, the couple are seen smiling, smooching, laughing – and playing in a dunk tank with Lively's family in New York.
In one steamy photo, Reynolds, 35, pulls Lively, 24, in close for a kiss while she wraps her arm around is neck and balances a drink in the other hand.
Lively wears a patriotic blue and white polka dot swimming suit, while Reynolds is pictured in a white tank top and khaki pants in some shots and in a pair of loose, blue swim trunks in others.
Lively and Reynolds began dating last fall, and the couple seems to have settled into comfortable pattern of spending time with each other their families. In May, they had a big family dinner in the actor's hometown of Vancouver.

Ruffa: Love Can Be 'Toxic'

MANILA, Philippines – Actress- TV host Ruffa Gutierrez is on a “dating detox.”
Apparently, Gutierrez feels as if going out and meeting someone new and—maybe—falling in love, is quite a toxic matter.
And she just might be basing this on experience, getting herself mired in a storm for dating hot matinee idol John Lloyd Cruz sometime ago and all.
Doubtless, there had been other lesser known—but, obviously, not very successful—relationships as well, which she herself admitted in a recent interview with GMA News.
"I've been in one relationship after the other, so I think it's also a good experience kung pa-paano mai-rest ang ating puso. Kasi it's been one crazy cycle after another," Gutierrez said.
"I plan to have a love sabbatical," she added. "I have to keep my focus.”
Gutierrez said that her decision had also been influenced by stories she kept hearing from her acquaintances.
"Lahat ng mga nakakausap kong friends ko, all the time they're always crying, they're always sad. May mga problema sila sa mga husband nila, sa mga boyfriend nila," said she. "[So] I'm so happy na wala akong pino-problema kundi ang sarili ko at mga anak ko."
If anything, Gutierrez would rather concentrate in being a good mom to her children, Lorin and Venice.
"A lot of my decisions really have to do with them—why I will do a certain thing or why I will not do a certain thing, it's really because of Lorin and Venice," she emphasized.
In the same interview, Gutierrez shared that she and estranged husband Yilmaz Bektas are in “good terms.”
She even went on to admit that she—but most especially her kids—misses his company.
"Nakaka-miss din naman siya, [as with] 'yung bonding na nakikita ko between Lorin and Venice and their father," sabi ni Ruffa.
But it’s not as if she wants to get back with him.
"Wala na. He'll just forever remain my one true love and the father of my kids," she maintained.
Asked if she regrets having married him in the first place, Gutierrez answered in the negative.
But she admitted, "Siguro si Yilmaz masasabi kong siya 'yung true love ko, pero hindi siya 'yung forever love ko."

Angel Aquino opens up on her current love life

MANILA, Philippines – Angel Aquino has happily admitted being in a relationship for a little over two months now.
“We’ve been together… Kasi sabi ko, ‘Oh, sige. Officially, January 1 tayo.’ Para, ‘di ba, new year, new life, new relationship,” Angel shared in an interview on “Kris TV” aired Mar. 19.
Without actually giving the identity of her new love, she shared, “He’s younger by two years. He’s also in business.
“He’s single, never been married. I’m a lucky girl to have met this person.”
More, Angel said that her two teenage daughters from a previous marriage approve of him “very much,” and that the four of them spend time together through sleepovers at his place and out-of-town-trips.
“He’s just so sweet to the girls, sobra,” she gushed.
Asked by host Kris Aquino, “So ito parang feeling mo pwedeng pakasalan na?” Angel replied, “Dati hindi ko ‘yan iniisip. Pero ngayon baka pwedeng i-consider.”
The actress-model admitted, “I’ve never felt this strongly for anyone, or this deeply. And this sure. The certainty that I feel now for this person is different.”
It was February last year when Angel confirmed the breakup of her four-year relationship with actor Lui Villaruz, who’s five years her junior. She then focused on her family and daughters, who are “the most important people in my life.”
