Paris Hilton marries in 'true fairy tale wedding'

LOS ANGELES - U.S. socialite Paris Hilton has married her boyfriend of two years, Carter Reum, in what she called "a true fairy tale wedding."

Hilton, 40, who got engaged to businessman Reum, also 40, in February, posted details of the wedding in Los Angeles on Thursday in a blog where she said she couldn't believe she was finally a wife.

"I finally got to kiss my Prince and begin the happily ever after I’ve been dreaming of since I was a little girl," she wrote.

"Wifey for lifey," she added in a Twitter posting alongside photos of her Oscar de la Renta lace wedding gown.

Guests at the wedding on her family's posh Bel-Air estate included Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie and Paula Abdul. Demi Lovato performed at a wedding reception, where Hilton had four changes of outfits, celebrity website TMZ reported.

Hilton, the great granddaughter of Hilton Hotels founder Conrad Hilton, was catapulted to tabloid fame through a leaked sex tape in 2001. She later starred in the TV reality show "A Simple Life" and is currently filming a reality series called "This is Paris."

Her personal business empire now includes a perfume line, boutiques and other products.

Hilton had a long string of boyfriends, ranging from singer Nick Carter to Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos and musician Benji Madden. She has been engaged three times before - to actor Chris Zylka in 2018, shipping heir Paris Latsis in 2005 and fashion model Jason Shaw in 2002.

Chris Pratt marries Katherine Schwarzenegger, ex Anna Faris reportedly attends

MANILA, Philippines —Hollywood actor Chris Pratt and American author Katherine Schwarzenegger have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony.

In his Instagram account, the “Guardian of the Galaxy” star announced that they were married last Sunday.

“Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives,” Chris wrote.

The "Avengers" star thanked their family and friends for gracing their special day, especially Giorgio Armani for creating his suit and Katherine’s wedding dress.

“We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed,” Chris said.

Katherine also posted the same photo and same caption in her Instagram account.

Hollywood celebrities Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jason Momoa, John Krasinski and Priyanka Chopra, among others commented their congratulatory message to the couple.

Chris and Katherine met and started dating last summer through Katherine’s mother. The actor announced their engagement last January.

Katherine is the daughter of actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and broadcast journalist Maria Shriver.

This is Chris' second marriage as he was married to actress Anna Faris for eight years. They have a son together, Jack.

Shortly after posting about their wedding, Chris was criticized for captioning his photo the “best day of our lives.” Some netizens feel that the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star should be referring to the birth of his son as the “best day;” while others think that he did not give regard to his marriage with Anna, who reportedly attended his wedding.

“I love Chris Pratt. But this upsets me a little … to say that this is the best day of your life when you’ve been married before and had children. What about those days? It just kinda implies that those things weren’t just as important, even if times have changed,” one comment said.

“It is the best day of his life until the next time he gets married,” said another.

Though Pratt and Faris separated last August 2017, the two have reportedly remained friends.

For a prince's wedding, even the greenery has royal roots

WINDSOR, England — Even the foliage in the flower arrangements will have royal roots.

Philippa Craddock, the London florist selected by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to design the blooms for their wedding ceremony, said Wednesday that ferns and branches of silver birch, English oak and beech from Windsor Great Park will be part of the greenery adorning the scenery at nearby St. George's Chapel.

An integral part at that, according to Craddock.

"The base is the foliage, that's where the designs start from, and then the flowers are complementary on top of that, but actually it's very much the foliage and shapes of the branches that will give us the shape of the designs," she told Britain's Press Association.

Windsor Great Park is one of the public open spaces owned by Britain's monarch. Unsurprisingly, its 4,800 acres have quite the pedigree.

William the Conqueror hunted there in the 11th century when the park was a forest. King Charles II was the one who tamed the land in the late 17th century. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, the husband she would forever mourn after his death at Windsor Castle, were devoted park patrons.

Harry's great-grandfather, King George VI, set in place the first of 60 oak trees that were planted in honor of his 1937 coronation. Another row of oaks honors Harry's grandfather, Prince Philip, who holds the title of park ranger. Still another celebrated Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday.

Kensington Palace previously revealed that roses, peonies and foxgloves also will be in the church arrangements at Saturday's wedding. Beyond that, Craddock and the garden keeper at Windsor Great Park, John Anderson, are staying respectfully discreet.

"There are moments where I've focused on it being another commission, so it's like working with any one of our couples, and of course you take a step back and you just realize the enormity of it," Craddock said. "It's a huge occasion and we're just hugely privileged."

Jennifer Aniston weds Justin Theroux in LA: reports

LOS ANGELES | Former “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston has married her longtime boyfriend Justin Theroux at their Los Angeles-area home in a secret ceremony that took the media and many of the couple’s guests by surprise, celebrity media reported on Thursday.

People magazine and Us Weekly, citing unidentified sources, said the couple, who have been dating for four years, exchanged vows in front of some 70 family members and friends at their Bel-Air home on Wednesday.

Representatives of the couple did not return requests for comment. But celebrity news website TMZ.com posted photos of a stage, an outdoor dance floor, dining tables and a large cake being brought into the house that Aniston and Theroux share in Bel-Air, a posh hilltop neighborhood of Los Angeles.

“Guests were told it was a birthday party for Justin. Jen and Justin wanted to surprise guests and guests were certainly surprised,” People magazine reported, citing a source.

“Jen has been very good at keeping her wedding planning secret. Only her closest confidants knew that the party was actually a surprise wedding.”

Aniston, 46, whose first marriage to actor Brad Pitt ended in divorce 10 years ago, met actor and “Tropic Thunder” screenwriter Theroux, who turns 44 next week, in 2008, and the couple announced their engagement in 2012.

People and Us Weekly said guests at the wedding included Aniston’s “Friends” costar Lisa Kudrow, comedians Ellen DeGeneres and Chelsea Handler, TV’s “America’s Got Talent” judge Howard Stern and British actress Emily Blunt.

Aniston has forged a lucrative film career in romantic comedies such as “Marley & Me” and “Just Go with It,” since the hit TV comedy “Friends” ended in 2004, having made her a global star.

Her love life, including romances with musician John Mayer and actor Vince Vaughn, has been the focus of intense celebrity media speculation since the split with Pitt, who went on to strike up a relationship with Angelina Jolie. Pitt and Jolie married quietly in France in August 2014.

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner marries his ‘runaway bride’

LOS ANGELES – Octogenarian Playboy founder Hugh Hefner briefly swapped his iconic silk pajamas for a tuxedo to marry Crystal Harris, the one-time “runaway bride” who followed through this time at a New Year’s Eve wedding.

“Happy New Year from Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hefner!” the Playboy magazine publisher tweeted early on Tuesday.

The message accompanied a photograph of Hefner, 86, wearing what appeared to be purple silk pajamas under a black bathrobe and snuggling his bride, 26, still wearing her pale pink wedding dress. He also wore his trademark captain’s hat.

An hour earlier, Hefner posted a picture of himself in a tuxedo with his bride under an arch of pink and white flowers at the wedding ceremony in the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, California.

“Crystal & I married on New Year’s Eve in the Mansion with Keith as my Best Man. Love that girl!” Hefner wrote on Twitter with the picture, referring to his brother Keith Hefner, a songwriter.

The couple tied the knot more than a year after their planned 2011 wedding was scuttled when Harris got cold feet.

The blonde Playboy Playmate of the Month for December 2009 jettisoned the adult entertainment mogul in what was called a “change of heart” five days before a lavish June 2011 wedding before 300 guests.

Harris, who appeared on the July 2011 cover of the adult magazine with a “runaway bride” sticker covering her bottom half, tweeted on Monday that she was ready to commit and changed her name to “Crystal Hefner” on the micro-blogging site.

“Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner,” Harris, who has a psychology degree, wrote on Twitter after writing “Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed.”

The San Diego native, whose parents are British, said she asked for Christmas ornaments rather than lingerie at her pre-Christmas bridal shower to help decorate Hefner’s famed mansion.

Hefner, founder of the Playboy adult entertainment empire, has been married twice before. He and his second wife Kimberley Conrad, also a former Playmate, divorced in 2010 after a lengthy separation. His first marriage to Mildred Williams ended in divorce in 1959. He has two children from each marriage.

Pastor dies at wedding ceremony

MUNICH, Germany, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Guests at a wedding in Germany said they were stunned when the minister performing the ceremony died just before the bride and groom could say "I do."

"It was like something out of a movie," organist Andrea Wittmann told The Local.de.

Grzegorz Wieczorek, 47, was reciting a prayer when he stopped mid-sentence and collapsed at the altar, hitting his head on the stone floor of the St. Lambert church in southern Bavaria.

Panicked guests tried to help him while Wittmann summoned an ambulance.

The bride and her Italian groom were married several hours later at another church.

Natalie Portman weds her ‘Black Swan’ love

LOS ANGELES – US actress Natalie Portman has married French dancer Benjamin Millepied, her partner of two years and the father of her 14-month-old son, People magazine reported Monday.

The traditional Jewish wedding was held Saturday evening in the Big Sur coastal resort, some 390 kilometers (240 miles) northwest of Los Angeles, according to the magazine.

Photos leaked on microblogging site Twitter showed a grinning Portman in a tea-length, A-line dress with a sheer overlay that covered her arms and shoulders, and a long veil, in keeping with Jewish custom.

The dress was designed by Rodarte, a label run by two of Portman’s longtime friends, and the company behind her purple Grecian-style Oscars gown in 2010.

Millepied wore a blue tuxedo, People reported.

The vegan meal — following the actress’s preferences — skipped the wedding cake and ended with French “macarons”: rich, typically meringue-based cookies.

The couple, who live in New York, met in 2009 while filming “Black Swan,” the ballet thriller for which Portman won an Academy Award.

Millepied choreographed the dance scenes and acted in the film.

Spokesmen for the star, most famous for her role as Queen Amidala in “Star Wars,” did not immediately respond when contacted by AFP.

Three Tips Make Your Wedding Unique Get Creative With Your Bridesmaids Dresses

Believe it or not you can have a gorgeous wedding without forcing everyone to buy expensive bridesmaid gowns. Having all your ladies in the same dress and color is a fine tradition, but imagine if they each had a unique dress. If you use the following guidelines, then you won't even have to sacrifice any of your visions of a classy, romantic wedding and you'll please your bridesmaids beyond belief.

1. Decide about colors. Do you want everyone to pick a dress in the same color, or Justin the same color family? For example, in the first option, you can send each bridesmaid a swatch of a color that you want them to match as closely as possible. In the second option, you can let them know if you want pastels, muted, neutral or bright colored dresses. Direct them to colors you see in catalogues or in stores so that you are all on the same page. Also, if you're choosing a group of colors, then it's nice to let your bridesmaids have a say in which one they get. Remember that you want them to end up with a dress that they enjoy-and maybe can even use again.

2. Decide on a length. Even if you have bridesmaids that vary in height a great deal, having everyone with ankle or knee length dresses will provide uniformity. Along with length, you'll want to let them know how high or low you want shoes to go and whether you want them to all be opened or closed toe.

3. Depending on how detailed you want to be, decide on a style and/or fabric. Do you want v-neck or scoop-neck; short sleeves or long sleeves? Do you want silky satin or breezy linen? Once you get into this territory, it is actually better to have fewer specifics, rather than more. The point is to be unique, right? However, it is probably best that you choose whether it's short or long sleeves to a point, (i.e. avoid having one bridesmaid with sleeveless and another with long billowing ones. Think guidelines, rather than requirements. If you have everyone in the same general color, then you will be able to get away with a little more variation in cut and style. The same is true for fabric.

Preparing for an unique wedding will be a stressful experience for new couples.Looking for your ideal wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses takes great efforts,I find various of wedding dresses online, please visit http://www.fabbridal.com/
