MANILA, Philippines — The creator of the hugely popular giraffe riddle made known his identity and said that releasing such brain-teasers will become a weekly affair.
In his Youtube account, 24-year old New Zealander Andrew Strugnell made known himself as the creator of the viral Facebook riddle. He is a video blogger who also works for a start-up video website.
The riddle is revealed via a Facebook status update. If one answers wrong, users as a consequence are asked to use a giraffe as their profile picture for three days.
The puzzle, dubbed The Great Giraffe Challenge, has its own Facebook page, which has over 100,000 likes, as well as a dedicated website.
In his latest status update, Strugnell said that he and his friends are already cooking up a new Facebook riddle soon.
