Not even the latest response of GMA Network threatening legal action can slow down a defiant Sarah Lahbati. Once again, the embattled actress took to Twitter Wednesday night and posted a very long tweet using the social network’s TwitLonger service.
Singling out GMA Films president Annette Gozon-Abrogar, she once again aired her side of the worsening dispute and repeated her previous allegation about the former’s involvement with ICONS Management. She stood firm on her allegation of ICONS’ “underground deals” involving Gozon-Abrogar and GMA Artist Center (GMAAC).
Addressing the clamor of people who have suggested that these problems be settled privately, Sarah said that such efforts had in fact been made by the concerned parties where she was even guaranteed protection by “Mr. Gozon” (presumably network CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon, the father of Gozon-Abrogar).
“But when the blame pointed towards Anette, it became a different story. I have all the proof and paperworks with my statements,” she revealed.
Responding to the legal actions that GMA and Gozon-Abrogar threatened to make in separate public statements, Sarah boldly declared that she should be the one filing a case against GMAAC.
“I finished filming two movies and didn’t get paid, I still have collectible cheques from guesting in different shows and out of town shows since 2010 that are UNPAID,” she further tweeted.
She neither acknowledged nor disputed GMA’s recent statement explaining the cause of delay of her payment for the film, “Basement”, the check for which the network said was released last January 4 as “a special concession”.
She also appealed to GMA News and Current Affairs to be fair to her and investigate GMAAC’s deals with ICONS.

“It has been three days since Ms Anette Gozon Abrogar uses GMA news to bombard me and make my image look bad.. Why can’t you give a statement about your involvement in ICONS management company dealing with GMA? We have all the paperworks and proof. I never mentioned that Anette treats artists differently, read my tweets again, what I’m saying is that artists from ICONS are given more of a special treatment. Why is she so defensive when it comes to ICONS? Give a statement about the underground deals of ICONs on the news!
“To all the people saying that we should fix this behind closed doors, we did try fixing these issues privately even before it got public, I was even guaranteed protection by Mr. Gozon if I tell every detail, but when the blame pointed towards Anette, it became a different story. I have all the proof and paperworks with my statements.

When your a small artist and new in this industry they will take advantage of you.
