MANILA, Philippines - Motorist Robert Blair Carabuena, who achieved notoriety for having assaulted an MMDA traffic enforcer earlier this year, posted bail Friday afternoon before a Quezon City court.
Accompanied by his lawyer, Caesar Ortega, the Philip Morris employee paid the P12,000-bail for his provisional liberty at the Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 42 under the sala of Judge Juris Callanta.
Earlier, the court ordered Carabuena's arrest for his assault of MMDA traffic constable Saturnino Fabros, which was caught on video by a TV5 crew.
The court will be setting the date for Carabuena's arraignment following the posting of bail and withdrawal of the arrest warrant.
